The new padding has been installing, and the carpet is just about ready to be seamed!

In the foreground is some 5/16 inch bonded urethane padding . 20-25 sq. yds. needs replacing in this basement. The company that did the cleanup of wet pad and drying of carpet hacked up the carpet seams pretty badly!!

I do all types of wall to wall carpet repairs. Many of these type of repairs are caused by pets scratching on the rug. I also get my fair share of repairs of burns on the carpet caused by a hot iron! This recent job entailed patching several areas of a basement family room which had undergone some renovation done by the owner. The carpet had a textured pattern and we were able to obtain the carpet to necessitate the patching from a small 8x12 "donor"room which was off of the main area.

Here is the finished product!We will now clean the carpet via the soil extraction method.

The padding had been reinstalled and the carpet has been put back into position.
