Contented carpet customer

Just completed a job  for an 80 year old woman who lives alone who found me the old fashioned way - in the Yellow Pages.  This customer had soliticted bids from at least two other companies to replace water-damaged carpet in her basement. The customer chose me because of my willingness to listen and focus on her particular needs.  This kind of customer service cannot be found at any of the large home improvement chains which can seduce the consumer with low prices but only guarantee installation for one year.  The customer anticipates putting the house on the market and wanted to make sure that the new carpet matched the existing carpet in the basement which had not been damaged by water. She was happy with the color match and gushed over the completed project.  She insists that I use her as a reference.
